A divorced mom of two little boys, Rachel lives in Ohio, and has a strong local support system. She works as a New Accounts Supervisor at a bank, and previously served in the US Army. She carried for International gay dads, and gave birth to a healthy baby boy in 2015.
I met a surrogate at the age of thirteen. I remember thinking “what a selfless gift!” As the mother of two boys I couldn’t imagine my life without them, and knew I wanted to help a hopeful couple experience the joys that being a parent brings.
I looked into many agencies when researching how to become a surrogate. CFC stood out among the rest. All of my interactions with the agency were pleasant ones, because the staff actually cares about its parents and surrogates. I appreciated their support, comfort, knowledge, and great communication throughout the entire process!
My relationship with my Intended Parents has grown into something I never imagined. This was such a special and personal journey that we experienced. The parents, along with their baby, are very special to me! Our relationship was able to blossom because our journey coordinator handled all of the “business” aspects, which allowed the parents and myself to connect on a personal level.
Seeing the fruit of my labor, (literally!) and witnessing my Intended Parents’ faces light up with joy and seeing their tears of joy flow… That was what this journey was all about. That was the moment I’d been looking forward to for ten months and it was such a rewarding one! I do believe I’ll be a surrogate with CFC again in due time, because this experience has been better than I could’ve ever imagined!
